PRODUCTS - Cylinder Liner is an insert in the Cylinder Block for
water cooled engine whereas an air cooled engine uses a Cylinder
Block. It is a Cylinder inside which the Piston reciprocate. The
combustion of the fuel takes place inside the Cylinder. It is
exposed to very high temperature resulting in to high thermal
stresses. The thermal energy generated by the combustion of fuels
inside the Cylinder is converted to useful work.
The sleeve is an insert to an air cooled cylinder block or water
cooled block (without liner type). Usually it is used when the bore
size is increased beyond limit due to wear. The material and other
parameters are same as cylinder liner. The sleeves are available in
semi-finish or fully finish condition.
MATERIAL - The Cylinder Liner is made from Grey Cast Iron of FG 200
to FG 250 grade. Inside surface of the bore is honed to required
pattern and size. The Cylinder Block is made of Grey Cast iron of
FG 200 / FG 250 grade, casted by shell moulding process.
RANGE - We have a wide range of Cy. Liners, Sleeves & Blocks in
our production, used in two wheelers, three wheelers, cars,
tractors, trucks, stationery engines, marine engines, compressors
etc.
MANUFACTURING FACILITY - Casting is done by centrifugal process or
sand casting or shell moulding processes per the requirement.
Machining is done on CMC machines and honed with special honing
machines with proper grain size of hones.
